How to make a Pallet porch swing without a porch?

Hello everyone! I have been wanting to make one of the pallet swings and I see several on here. What want to know i has anyone made the swing but without the porch or tree to hang it from?.I have ideas but I haven’t seen any examples. I want to put my pallet swing in the back of the yard and put a small water pond with lots of flowers. If anyone has instructions and/or photos, I would just love to see them. Thank you so much

Our neighbor had a swing... and only an aluminum awning ... so no place to hang it... Google search... free standing porch swing... choose the "more images" tab.....you can plant posts or make a stand for it.... lots of plans and ideas

thank you for all of your help. I am handicapped so I was looking for a way to put up the pallet swing w 2 pallets slide by side. It would be perfect for me to lay on outside. Grandmashouse diy hit the nail on the head. I cannot wait to show it to my husband. It is exactly what I wanted. So glad that I asked. Thank you everyone. Many minds together make a difference.
