I need to brighten up my kitchen and my cabinets are just getting on my nerves. What can I do to the cabinets to brighten the kitchen up?

instead of using peel and stick tiles, I would try removable wall paper. It works much like contact paper and can be striped right off. Available on line or at Target.

If this is your own home, you could consider painting the cabinets. There are several paint brands that don't require sanding or stripping. You would still need to do a thorough cleaning with vinegar and water. After painting, get some updated knobs and drawer pulls. They will look completely different and refurbished.

Why not paint the raised panel or stain it a darker color.

Good quality peel and stick tiles will work, contact paper also, but it's less durable and calls for gentler cleaning methods. I updated my bathroom with peel and stick tiles and they are very easy to clean. Not to mention that there was no mess when applying them (as opposed to painting, finishing and paint drying process). I'd say do a little research and find nice tiles then go for it!

My fav... stencil them! Or you could use some peel and stick mirror tiles

    Good Luck☘️!
