We are having some hard rains and all are mulch is leaving our beds for the sidewalks and down to our driveway. We have trench's around are huge flower beds, but when it rains this hard the mulch flows down and over loads the trench's with mulch and water. It is a workin' progress cleaning it back to the beds.....Any hints to help would be appreciated. Thank you!

If the oveflow is coming from rain gutters you can buy some flexible gutter extensions to bring the water flow farther out and away from the gardens.

Thank you Gk!! We have and will give them a try. Hub's just bought them.......I guess we are goin' to have to dig trench's deeper also. This doesn't happen all the time, just with they winds and hard down pours......it is a mess......Thank you so much!!

Try additional gutter to lengthen the shaft. If you reach desired length and still have water pudding, maybe add the plastic splash guard-looks like a trapezoid. Has wide flare on one end.

You can buy flexible extensions that fit on to the end of your downspout. I got mine at Home Depot, but any home improvement store that carries gutters will have them. They come in different colors, I chose brown. They extend to about 5 - 6 feet long.
