Hello, my husbsnd & I started a DIY almost 2 years ago. We don’t have the money at this time. Any ideas. On s budget.

Is that a picture of the shower area? Are you going to put a shower back in? Do you want to replace the shower with something else? Looking for more storage? Flooring info?-

Back to shower. But needed a little update. I was think of ceramic all over the bathroom. But I don’t know how it would look.

Find a nice St Vincent in a upscale neighborhood. Go on 50% off day and snag some really nice things. They often have Brand New items. Try bid sites and wait u til the last minute to bid.-

to start remove the wall covering with all of the pipes in it. Check to see if there is any damage to the structure. Fix any problems that you find. Use hardy backer board to line the shower. Look on you tube for instructions. Follow directions. Use https://www.homedepot.com/p/Custom-Building-Products-RedGard-1-Gal-Waterproofing-and-Crack-Prevention-Membrane-LQWAF1/100169081 to water proof the enclosure. Next is the hadr part. Tile. Home depot rents tile saws. Pick the type of tile you want to use. Cut and dry fit all the tile you will use. then you can start attaching. once again use you tube to get both ideas and instructions.I redid all of the bathrooms in my house of a couple of years. Buy all of the tile at one time so you can get the same color. -
