I found these two cute chairs at a flea market for $4 a piece and painted them with homemade chalk paint. This was my first experience with homemade chalk paint and I'm just thrilled with the results.
The great thing about making your own chalk paint is that you can make it in any color you want and at any quantity you need. Its super easy to make, affordable and you will have tons of ingredients left over for other future projects.
The first coat was streaky, but it went on very smoothly. I applied a second coat and voila, I achieved the exactly look I wanted. After it was dry, I waxed and distressed them to reveal some of the original wood.
