Kids Beach Bathroom

The bathroom was beige, oak and boring. I wanted to make the bath light, bright and colorful but also not spend a ton of money. By adding some board and batten, a colorful shower curtain and some fun details, the bath is now a fun place to bathe and brush your teeth and for less than $200!
Paint really makes a difference in the feel of a room. Using a lot of white really brightened up the room.
My husband and I worked on this room together, adding hooks for towels, a swing shelf and some seashell art.

I painted the mirror and vanity, then added some fun seahorse knobs.
We found a clearance light fixture at Lowes and sold ours for the same price so managed to get an updated light fixture for free.
The shelf cost us less than $10 to make and adds a fun element to the room. I enjoyed hunting down some beachy accessories to complete the look. You can see more photos and the cost breakdown on my blog!
