Train your dog's, plain and simple! I have 6 including one in training. This place would be nothing but chaos if the dogs were not trained. It is a dogs instinct to dig. They just want to please you and receive unconditional love. If your yard is large enough, provide them their own space where it is acceptable to dig. Chances are they are bored or do not get enough exercise. See if this helps.

Your dog's are bored. Try taking them on walks and being in the yard with them. My husband was in hospital and I stayed with him. Came home next day about a foot deep hole in garden gravel path with gravel spread everywhere.
