You could consider buying a large drum and filling it with sand

They rent rollers for leveling new lawns that are filled with water. Not sure what the weight would be or if that is what they mean. Would check youtube for a video from that manufacturer for that type of floor. If not call the store where purchased. If not return the flooring and glue for the floating type. Stainmaster makes a nice one. Hope this helps

    Usually people rent one.

You will run into the same thing I do. Spend money and time to make something you only use once. Then it takes up space in the basement or shed. My local Home Depot rents these for $17 for four hours. Spend the $17.

Being well over 100 pounds myself, I'd be tempted to just slide myself over it!

You should be able to rent a roller from a store which sells flooring.

Just a quick thought that what works for one person might not work for others. For instance if I can cobble something together in my shed I already have and it takes OVER an hour, I would be saving money. Why? Takes 1/2 hour to get to nearest rental place - 30 there, 30 back, 30 to return it, 30 to come back home. Plus the rental cost and that thing the Brits call PETROL. Just to be very fair, I have personally spent FAR MORE time and money trying to rig something up instead of just buying or renting something.

Back to the question - I'm going to put my old fashioned roller skates on one foot and carefully apply 170 pounds of pressure (1.21 gigawatts in metric). When my wife takes a video of me crashing to the floor, I will post the link for y'all.

And yes, I live in a doublewide in southeast Ohio.

I have heavy steel fire extinguishers I get from the scrapyard for 50 cents a piece that I use as crucibles for my foundry. I filled one with sand. It rolled great.
