Painting vineyl floors
I hope you mean 18" square tiles, not thick! Well ask at a good paint store (like Benjamin Moore) but I'm pretty sure you can. This is a small entrance hall at the back of our house. I first painted this floor almost 40 years ago and have only re-pained once. It is the way we usually enter the house. It is floor paint and I believe the tiles themselves are probably asbestos. It wears pretty well. I would still try to scrape off any paint drops if I were you.
