Over the Weekend: Dog Days

I had a really nice Mother's Day weekend! My brother drove up to Ohio from his home in Washington, D.C. and we all got to spend time together as a five-person family! It's pretty rare these days.
We spent time hanging out at the new house, eating dinner in Cleveland's Little Italy, turkey-watching on the back deck (we get wild turkeys and for some reason find this highly entertaining), and laughing a lot.
Plus--this was the first time we had all three dogs in one house!
This is my parents' dog Frankie. He's a cute little fluff ball, but over the weekend he saw a turkey banging on the basement sliding door. He ran to the door, jumping on it angrily, and barking like mad!! Inevitably he scared away the turkey. We now call him the Turkey Crusher. We're cool like that.
My brother's rescue dog is a cute senior lady named Zoey. She's an Australian Cattle Dog. My pooch, Tuney--who is also a rescue--has some issues getting along with new dogs. So the weekend had some stress involved.
After a day and a half, though, Tuney warmed up to Zoey enough so that she could be off-leash in the house. She did a really great job!
Sunday night we were treated to a beautiful sunset in the backyard. It was a great weekend! Did you do anything special for Mother's Day?
