Hello everyone. I have tried so many things to get rid of ants in my house with no luck. I am hoping that someone has a trick or two to help me out. I am sick and tired of these ants. Thanks

If ants are coming in your house, there is a food source somewhere in your kitchen cabinets or something is not in sealed plastic containers in your pantry....they are quite adapt in smelling the food source from outside and finding it inside....never underestimate ants! If there is a trail, and there usually is, follow their trail back to the point where they are entering the house and see where they are headed to find the food...then you can eliminate the food source and start to spray or just use furniture polish ( yes I have cats and do not Ever use poison bug spray in my home!) along the trail to sweep them up and they will die unfortunately but the key is to find the food source....

Depends on the type. Terro ant bait is the best for those little sweet slab ants. They have little bait stations you put where you are seeing them. Leave dead ants. Yeah I know gross but they carry their dead back to nest and eat them poisoning the colony at the source. If you have carpenter ants you should get service from a pest control company. Bait stations can be put behind something or under something if you have pets.

  • packaged cornbread mix that says it is sweetened and put it where they are coming in if you can find it, or even on your counter in a small lid. They will take it to the mound, everyone will eat it and die, they can't digest the cornmeal, but will take it because it is sweetened. Little goes a long way.
