I have always wanted a water feature. How hard is it ?

It doesn’t have to be large. I feed the birds and know running water will attract more.

It's actually pretty easy. You can make something as small as a deck-top fountain with any container that holds water and pump. (homedept or lowes) If you are feeling ambitious, you can take the same principles and make it bigger. I've done 3, by myself. Dig a hole, make it level, drop in a liner, set up your pump (you can use as just a bubbler or run the hose to make a little waterfall like I did) add water and landscaping. The pump is plugged into an exterior outlet that has a GFCI. This is my current little pond. The same principles can be easily scaled back for something smaller which could probably be completed in just a few hours!
