Clean, sparay paint them with Rustoleum 2X for plastic, apply tow light coats, allow to dry in-between,and seal with a clear UV spray

    For a metal look,

    1. start with a bronze spray,
    2. dull it down with a light spray of black and
    3. always add a fast light swipe of hunter green.
    4. Step back from your project when spraying the black and green.
    5. I spray wet on wet. Meaning bronze - to immediately black - to green.
    6. Then I step back again and spray a fast go around of bronze. Let it dry and adjust the look with more spray if necessary.

Happy ageing! Oh, that didn't sound right, but you know what I mean...

Spray paint a few coats of whatever color(s) you want, then lightly sandpaper here and there to distress them. Sounds like a neat project!
