How to paint pop corn ceiling

I have been told to use Kiltz , i need to know if i can use a fine mist sprayer to do this and if it will work , I am a 75 yr old Senior

It should work. Just be careful not to get it too wet with the first coat. Spray it lightly and let it dry then do a second coat to cover completely.
spraying is the best way and Kiltz, is a great primer. The more gentle you are the better. The down side to spraying a ceiling is the mess, to avoid this stand behind the spray. Angle the spray away from you
Bonnie, you could easily call Kilz at 1-866-977-3711 and ask them about using your own sprayer. I would think it would be too thick, even diluted, and it would clog up your sprayer. But you can buy Kilz spray paint in a can. Keep in mind for spraying paint anytime, anywhere - be sure to protect your eyes and as much of your skin as possible by covering up, and wear a respirator.
