What is the best dish soap to spray plants with for spider mites?

one of my potted gardenia plants has spider mites. I bring them into the house in the late fall and put them out in the spring. I’ve had them a couple of years now one has started blood ok’ing beautifully and the other is suffering. I don’t want to bring it back inside this fall to infect my other house plants, and I’d sure hate to loose one of the pair that have framed my front step every summer the past 3 years. Is dish soap and water the best solution and if so, what concentration and brand of soap is best?

You can use Dawn dish soap (original blue). Works great for any flower or shrub. I use it. It's very cheap to use.
Any brand works. The point is to smother the bugs with a sticky film of soap. No degreasing power is necessary. Just soap
Dawn blue with warm water
You best option is to re-pot the mandevilla and spray with horticultral oil
yes think that would work I use a small spray bottle so I put in 1-2 drops of Dawn and fill bottle with water and it works
Put alcohol in a spray bottle and apply to leaves and stems top and bottom.
