Getting ready to refinish pine wood flooring. Some of the boards have separations between them. What would I use to fill the gaps that will not dry and flake out?

Hello, hope this helps you out.

Clean your floors, then apply the wood putty in a circular motion throughout each gap. Afterward, you'll want to remove the excess wood putty with a blunt knife. Apply a damp cloth to the gap and wipe away any residue that has gathered on nearby boards. Then, leave the wood putty to dry.
