How to build a carport?

There is a huge Oak tree where I park my car and the acorns chip the paint when they fall, I would like to make a temporary cover to protect it. TY j

You used to be able to buy a half rounded framed cover that could be pulled up when car was in place, might be an idea to look into this type of Carport?
