I used a combo of peroxide, efferdent, vinegar and dawn ( blue) dish soap. ( my shower was also not draining properly)
The combo took care of odor and the drain problem both!
Good Luck☘️!
sounds like you need to flush with baking soda and vinegar.
First, get something like this from HDepot and clear out hair for $6.

Then pour in 1/2 cup of baking soda. Add 1/2 cup of vinegar, put a washcloth over it and let it sizzle for about ten minutes. Rinse with hot water. Do it again until it goes down freely. Do it every week.
They make something just for that..I believe it is called Stix. They are little sticks you put down the drain to kill odors. They run about $5. A pack. I've seen at Dollar general, but they advertise Walgreens and CVS carry. I usually use a cup of baking soda, then a cup of vinegar, wait ten minutes and flush with hot water.
