Hi there, they make specific paints for masonry like that that would last longer then any other type of paint.
First thing you must get a sealer to seal the cinder block. I believe that they make a special paint for cinder block. Your local hardware, Lowe's, or home Depot will be able to help.
Hello. Cinderblock is a porous material and prior to painting requires a concrete and masonry primer that has a sealer included.
