Need recipe to get rid of aphids

    Soapy water, spray plant outside. 1 tsp dishwashing dosp in spray bottle, fill with warm water, mix, dorsy. Leave out til water stops dripping. Has always worked for me

      Thank you. Assuming this works for outdoor roses as well? Have some mildew and black spot beginning. Local store in our community doesn't seem to have a remedy at the time

    My uncle was an avid rose gardener... spray bottle with a bit of dish soap and some leftover coffee, fill rest with water then spray will well covered with moisture.. Don't do this late in the day, it can lead to powdery mildew if it doesn't have enough time to dry completely. Sorry I can't remember the portions .

    A spray bottle of a dawn dishsoap/water mixture should do the trick
