Removing a side splash and backsplash from bathroom

What is the easiest and least damaging way to remove a sidesplash and backsplash made of laminate from the walls? I'm replacing my countertop to a granite top and the top has been easy, but the trim is tough to get off. Any ideas?

I would try with a chisel and hammer. If not you may need a prybar. It may damage the wall a bit. You can apply mesh patches to cover holes and fill in with drywall mud and leveling any rough spots. Hope this helps
You could try a heat gun aimed at the edges. This would help loosen up any glue. Don't be afraid of trying a crowbar to get it out. These are usually glued down and will leave marks when removed. The good news is that it is not too hard to repair. Plus, a new back splash will cover it up.
Thank you. I did remove it by crowbar on my other bathroom remodel, so your answer reinforced that that was the best for me, since I don't have a heat gun.
