How hard is it to install radiant heat flooring in my new kitchen?

    if the floor isn’t down, easy! If not, you’ll have to remove tile or wood, lay down the matting with heat coils, and then cover with flooring.

    It’s actually a very big job. It’s not the hardest job to do or understand but it is a job that takes a lot it time and money as well as several skill sets. If you are a plumber and interested in learning about flooring then you may try it but if you’re a novice I wouldn’t suggest it.

    Jason is right. Although seemingly an 'easy' job, don't be deceived. It is imperative that it be completed properly as most of the finished work will eventually be hidden from view and accessibility. In order for this to be achieved, it will be necessary to have all the correct tools, knowledge on how to use them, and also a certain amount of physical strength and agility.
