Mosquito fish question- what happens to them in the winter?

Getting some mosquitofish for my outdoor pond. I live near Philadelphia, PA. Does anyone know what happens to them in the winter?

I've never used mosquitofish. My pond is for koi that love mosquito larvae. If your pond is at least 32 inches deep, the koi will go into a state of dormancy and hybernate once the temp reaches about 40 degrees. Try asking your vendor about mosquitofish.
You still may need to use a pond warmer so the pond does not freeze solid, if it does, it will certainly kill the fish
