Hi Treva, CLR is the best product I have found. We had very hard water at our last house. It left a film on our shower doors. The only product that worked for me was CLR. The trick is to spray it on and leave it set for at least 15 minutes. Then use a clean damp cloth to wipe it off.
I agree with Kjdepierre. I use the 50/50 mix of dawn and vinegar also but put it in a spray bottle, spray on shower walls right after a shower and about 15 minutes later rinse it off.
Every time I clean my mirrors, they end up having tons of streaks and almost look worse than before I started. What could I use to clean them that won't leave streaks...

50/50 Dawn and Vinegar. I fill a kithen sponge from the Dollar Store and use it as I get out of the shower and then rinse. Works great.

using a non scratch kitchen sponge with cheap shampoo, wipe over and rinse off DONE !
