Has anyone ever bleached, then dyed the rag rug at the dollar stores?
I have a project in mind that can use those rugs. Just not that color. Thank you. p.s I can't make the rug so I need to buy it.

Since the rug is from the dollar store.... get one and try it.... it won't be a huge financial loss.... the worst that can happen, is that the rug may be made from artificial materials... that won't bleach out.

Why not paint it instead. If it only cost a dollar it might be worth a try......Use Chalk Paint or Fabric Paint........Could Try Out ideas on one rug ............
