Is it a good idea to paint a garage floor considering Candian Winters?

We are contemplating this idea but don't want to run into a situation where it has to be re-done every year or two. Any advice - product recommendations? Thanks.

Hi there, paint will eventually come off basically no matter what you do. Have you looked into the epoxy floor coverings for garages?
I know you can, I worked for a dealership and they did the shop. There is special paint. This should help.

We live in southern On. Painted the garage floor years ago with floor paint, no problems.
