Subway tiles are in so easy and beautiful with any color scheme.
I did sheets of stainless steel tiles purchased at Lowe’s. Stick on backing (very sticky just be careful) easy to put up . I did it myself. No grout and it is VERY easy to clean.... looks great too,
They make tiles that are actually just stick on and not real tile, extremely easy to put up over sheet rock and come in a ton of varieties
Lowes also has plastic like tiles that are paintable. Comes in large squares.
