Mold on ceiling in storage room?

Question

We have household things, boxes and sporting equipment stored in basement that has accumulated mold on ceiling and walls over 7 year, sh we throw out our belongings or can we wash everything down with a special cleaner? icon

find out where the moisture is coming from; install a dehumidifier; clean the ceiling/walls, etc. and use http://www.concrobium.com/blog/2013/04/15/concrobium-mold-control-best-mold-killing-product/ -- CLOROX/Bleach will only kill mold on impervious surfaces -- glass, metal, etc. not on porous surfaces - wood, sheetrock, etc.

if it''s non-porous - glass, plastic, metal, etc. you can clean it with clorox/water solution; if it's washable in HOT water, leave out your regular detergent and use Oxyclean in the wash; rinse in plain water; then wash again with NO detergent and put 'bleach' in the beach dispenser -- if paper, wood, etc., I'd toss it.
