Read the other day that using a mixture of 1 tbsp.baking soda and 2 quarts of water every 2 weeks would encourage growth and bloom. I have given mine one treatment so time will tell!
You only get flowers on new growth, did you prune them back to 12" last fall? I've pruned mine back every year to 12" for 10+years and they come back tall and strong and full of blooms. Hope this helps.
