Would it be easier to buy or make a duvet cover for it in the color you want?
I due in my washing machine, full with hot water, add dye, let agitate, then add blanket, let agitate some more, then stop machine so blanket can soak for about 10minutes, then let the cycle run through. When done, remove blanket. To remove any dye left in washer, run a cycle with bleach. I've done this for years.π
the feather/down will not easily dry and may stink later. Seems to wisely make or buy a duvet as a previous writer said. They are SOOOOO easy to make and can be taken off to be washed any time!
