Ideas for mirrored wall?

Our condo is a small, early 70's build, with an entire mirrored wall (3 very large and heavy vertical mirror panels) in the living room. We like the reflected light it adds, but aren't in love with the harsh lines. I tried "softening" with sheer curtains, but it wasn't a great solution. We don't currently have the budget to take down and replace the drywall, so we'd appreciate any ideas the community might have!
*We hate the asbestos filled popcorn ceiling too and will save that for a future post!
What about placing “board and Batton” or wainscoting over the bottom half. You can use lightweight panels and glue directly to the mirrors. It would lessen the mirrored look and still allow some reflectiv light in the room,
How about using pallet wood cut to make a frame. You could paint it or stain. Would break up the look of the mirror. You could also purchase some etching paint. that would look great.

Make it look like a picture window. Put wood strips to make panes. Put a fatter,strip to frame it. Then put those sheer curtains in a swag, from the middle, tied on the side. It will look like light from the outside is shining inside. (I think) Good luck.
If all the panels are mounted at the same height you could create a faux 'window'. Frame out around the three with wood window molding. Then cut molding strips and glued them directly to the mirror face to divide the whole area into window panes. If you have actual windows in the room, try to match the size of the molding used on it closely as you can when buying material to make the faux window. Al be sure your framing pieces are thicker than the mirror so it jut out further from the wall. And be sure to paint all the project materials before installing them - much easier!!
I like your softening, just would do slightly different. Instead of hanging straight down, use tie back as you might at a window, and then hang some greenery, fake or real strategically in places in front of the mirror. Picture wire or glue of whatever you think of. That mirror wall could be a real asset.
