Hi Kate, I recommend that you use window clings. They come in a lot of different designs and they even come in colors. They sell window clings in home improvement stores and I'm pretty you can get them at Amazon.com too. I also think YouTube.com would be a great resource for you. Type something like 'using window clings' in the search bar. They will have some tutorials on using the clings. I hope this info helps you. Good luck.

I’ve got window clings in my bedroom windows, they face the county highway through town, it’s made a big difference in the headlight glare, and just a bit for the comfort level...they don’t conduct the cold like naked glass does. Wally World, worlds larget on line retailer rack have a selection.

Amazon is my go to for window films for myself and client projects, they have the best selection by far and wide. They have many 'classy' privacy window films in both privacy designs, stained glass, and natural elements.
