Best laundry room makeover

I have a laundry room in an unfinished basement. I don't have any cabinets but would to add some. What do I do about concrete walls

    You can furr them out and then drywall or panel.

    There is a special tool you can rent or buy at Home Depot for putting nails into cement. You would need that if you were to put up furring strips too. I don't really think I would put anything special with the walls other than a pretty paint. Then yes, I would add some cabinets for storage around the washer and dryer. You can never have enough storage! Add a couple shelves on one wall to add some pretties and maybe a nice throw rug in front of the washer and dryer and a picture or two on a wall. I would give anything if I had a basement for my washer and dryer. If I did, this would how I would do it! Hope this helps.

    I believe it is called a Hilti gun you can rent from home depot. I think maybe a piece of lattice would also look nice behind the cabinets also
