How can I make a landing to help me get in out and out of my bed?

I am having trouble getting upon my bed due to a temporary illness.- How can I make a landing that can be moved later?
I probably need two small steps or about 4" tall but it must be stable enough since I am 75.

You can buy inexpensive two step step stools on-line if you can't go to a big box store. Some even fold to put away.
a skid works well with a rug stapled on top. It's heavy though
