Can't hide them with standard plaster and sanding. The problem zone is about 1.5 m around the light box. Need creative ideas to hide the problem rather than replacing the jibrock sheets. Thanks you

  • A pic would help. Maybe use a really big light fixture??

Can’t you just paint it black?

You can always use ceiling medallions. They can be from contemporary to extremely ornate. Or you can make them yourself with lids of plastic paint containers. Paint them the same color at the light fixture. It then becomes part of the fixture itself. Good luck.

Would depend on the lights to be installed. There are goof rings in different sizes. Medallions with or without the hole depending on what will hide the most. Had a similiar problem where drywallers left a raggedly cut opening way too big. Had no choice but to add a piece of drywall and mud to patch. Used medallions without hole other places. Bought square recessed lights for others. Amazon was helpful for medallions. Good luck
