How to hang curtains from the ceiling?

Consider large plant hooks for your rods, screwed into ceiling. Try to screw at least two beams if your curtains or rods are heavy. You can always use pvc. You can get it in colors.

You can actually buy pipe fittings that work well. There is a flange one that screws to the ceiling with a bulb like shape that a pipe fits into. You can use 1/2 pipe or 3/4 .

I hung my living room curtains from the ceiling. I got antique white wooden curtain rods with wooden ceiling brackets from The Home Depot. Looks fantastic and was super easy to install.

You can buy ceiling curtain tracks (like they use in the ER and hospital rooms) at home improvement stores and on-line. Buy the hooks that that the curtains hang from and voila!
