How to use Poly on utility grade oak floors?

we had them done by a professional and he did a great job. Except there is one small place that he either missed with the poly or it came out. It is over a patched place. very small. Also he only put one coat of satin poly It is
nit too slick which is great but I am concerned it needs another coat. Anybody have any experience with this. Thanks. Oh yea I have been waiting two weeks and he won’t come back. My luck

You certainly could lightly sand and put another coat of floor polyurethane on your floor if you want to do so.
If you paid a professional call him and express these concerns. He should make it right and try to make you happy.
