Removal of stumps- how to?

There is a stump remover at the box stores my husband has used. You need to drill holes in the stump pour this in the stump.

I ve heard that you put Epsom salts in the drilled holes

We cut ours down to ground level using a chain saw. For large stumps you can drill a hole in the center, fill with salt and over time it will rot out. Time frame will vary and it isn't immediate.

You can also use "saltpeter" in 1/2"-3/4" holes drilled into the stump. Place a candle wick into the hole center then pour the saltpeter around it and light the candle wick. As long as the saltpeter can find wood it will continue to burn. After it burns out you can fill the hole created, with dirt or potting soil etc.

Drill holes in the trunk & fill them with Epsom Salt.
