How do you get the old smell out of all wooded bedroom furniture?

Not water damage or musty smell. Tried setting it out in the sun,charcoal and baking soda.

Wipe it out with vinegar.
When you use charcoal if should be activated charcoal.
If you intend to paint the furniture, sand it first and then use a primer like Kilz. Then paint it. The Kilz should take care of the smell issue. My son bought a "fixer upper" several months ago. Had terrible urine smell on enclosed back porch. After scrubbing, he used Kilz. Smell gone. Yay.
