My daughter loves painting and drawing. It is very nice thing and I love to see the whenever new ones she completes. The only thing makes me think is where I should store them. It would be nice to display on wall, but buying wood frame for each would end up very expensive and be very heavy, that is something I scare to have on my wall ever since my experience with 311 earthquake.
So here is my solution. It's easy to make, light to display and fun to decorate!
Step 1: Have your kids art ready!

Here is what my daughter worked on. I see ice cream wagon and colorful ice creams there and people enjoying them. This is one of my favorites and I needed something to protect it from folding damage(which she did already) and to display nicely.
Step 2: Have 2 cardboard cut in 4-5cm bigger size.

I usually use cardboard box from Amazon. Since it's always comes in same size and easy to make it flat which makes cutting process easily.
Please cut 2 cardboard in same size. One will be back of the art and the other will be front to cover.
Step 3: Cut the window of the front part, and decorate!

The front part need to have a window so that the art can be actually seen. Please be noted that the window needs to be 1-2cm smaller than actual art. This is to prevent the art from falling, and also it will make it look better by hiding the edge.

After making the window, it start look like a cardboard frame. Now is the fun part begins. It may be fun to work with kids too!

We had many kinds of Origami and used them to decorate, but any paper like wrapping paper with design or pattern would be nice too, as long as it can be stick with glue.
This is how it looks when Step 3 completed.
Step 4: Punch for wall hanging, stick the art in!

Have strings attached and make it hanged on the wall. After placing the clear tape, I just use the hole puncher, that one we use for documents, and it was all good.

This is the final step, put the art in middle and stick front and back parts together, like a sandwich. I have used hot glue to place both cardboard. Just be careful not to glue the art together, in case you may want to re-frame it in future.

It has been on my wall several months now, and has been fun interior since.
