What type of flowers are these and can I propagate it?
It appears to be a clematis vine. There are hundreds of different types.

That looks like a variety of Passion Flower Vine.... but to be sure... take a cutting to your LOCAL nursery and ask them.... they can also tell you if you can propagate it from cuttings.
its a clematis. congratulations on having such a beautiful one. to propagate select a stem near the ground. dont cut it off -- keep it on the plant like it is. on the underside of the stem, gently scratch till you uncover a layer of green (the cambium). scratch about an inch long lengthwise section of green. then lay the stem with the green onto roughed up bare soil. make sure the green is in good contact with the soil. then cover the stem part there (about eight inches long of it) with a couple inches of dirt. water it good, and water it whenever it gets dry-looking. in 6 weeks, tug it slightly. if it resists, it has rooted. if not, check it again in another month. cut the stem from the plant on the side that goes TO the plant. this rooted stem is your "daughter." dig it up and plant it where you want it. keep it watered for the rest of the summer, a little more often than you water your mother clematis.
now you can root multiple stems this way at a time, and i would, because no method is infallible. you dont want to wait all this time for a stem that wont take. but most of the stems will root.
to hasten the process, you can put a rooting hormone on the scraped green spot. this is for sale wherever you see bags of potting soil. powder or liquid
there are many colors of clematis available. its been a much loved plant for many years. look at the internet to see.

It sure is a clematis vine. Very Beautiful. Mine just bloomed last year but a different color. I think I will get it a mate in the color of yours! Mine looks better than the photo below of it last year, just haven't took pics of it yet this year.
yes it is definitely a clamitis looks exactly like mine...even the same colors...be careful not to plant near other plants as they will intertwine around them real bad.....they are very hard on people with asthma or c.o.p.d
