Spring Porch Makeover

Was this the longest winter EVER in the midwest? The spring before I had a garage sale in February! But this year winter stretched out through April. So with a very short Spring, I needed an easy redo. I started with a wreath I picked up
at a thrift store for $1.87 and added some lose flowers to fill it out.
The lime roses made it pop!
Next I worked on the flower pot. It has been painted so many colors over the years to match my boutiques. But being between resale stores and trying to save time, I left it green.
And if I could keep real plants alive, I‘d prefer them, but I used fake greenery to fill it out.
Then I added the flowers! (The biggest white one ultimately got nixed)
After that I spray painted a wicker chair, in another Hometalk tutorial, from this:
To this:
And I pulled it all together to create a romantic country spring look on a shoestring budget.
I have not talked my husband into paving the steps with pennies or staining the concrete yet, so I started looking for a large area mat I could spray paint. But having no luck scoring the right size under $6 this time around, I went with a dark brown $2 find. Which made the planter look out of place😳. So I painted It to match the rug.
And here is the final redo!
Quick. Easy. Springy!
