How To Stencil Affordable Mandala Wall Art
Welcome back, , you can add some light and energy into any room for more than half the price! Forget those sticky mandala wall decals. Stenciling a DIY mandala can become a calming, meditative experience that encourages your creativity and focus.
We will use these gorgeous and a paper towel!
To prepare for your wall art, you will paint the walls your desired base coat. Then using Sticky Note Spray adhesive and blue painters tape, place the first half of your mandala stencil against the wall! Make sure it is straight and laid flat.
For the paint, you will designate each dense foam roller to one color. Sporadically roll small sections of each metallic paint all over the stencil for a two-toned design. Start off with a very thin layer and you can slowly increase the paint for more coverage. This will avoid any bleeding.
You can then begin to cover the entire mandala stencil! Be sure to blend the colors together when changing rollers so it doesnt look “spotty.”
Once the first half of the wall art is done, peal back the wall stencil to view the beauty! You can let it dry for a few minutes.
Align the stencil with the previously painted registration marks to create the full Mandala stencil!
Using the same metallic paint and technique, you can roll the colors along the rest of the stencil for that two-toned look!
Once every inch of the is painted in and you are content with the colors, you can peal it back to view your gorgeous DIY wall art! These beautiful circular mandala designs bring a sense of peace and harmony into one’s space and help to re-organize and deepen one’s inner life.
