How do I disconnect my gas stove or a new gas stove delivery?

call the company you purchased the stove from and see if they will do it.That is nothing to be doing yourself

Your delivery guys "should" do this for you. Another option is to call the gas company, typically they will come out for free. If you have to do yourself, here is how.

Last resort, call a plumber.

This is a job for the professionals who will be delivering your new stove, not something for inexperienced homeowners to deal with...let them do this...

Hi Jane, You do it from the back of the gas stove, but instead of me doing it The guy/s would do it if they are licensed, but I would call our plumber and let them know you need a Licensed guy to come out disconnect and come back after the guys deliver your new stove. I just feel a lot better when plumber comes out and I didn't get charged much.

Thats something a pro should do when they deliver your stove to make sure there is no leak.
