Are you wondering what types to get?

For best results match the plants with how much sun/shade the spot you want to plant them gets. If it gets full sun all day, you need to find flowers that will grow in full sun. If it gets shade most of the day find flowers that grow better with shade

There are lots of options, can you tell us what zone you are in or state, and is it shade or sunny and will it be in the ground or in containers. Looking forward to helping you!!

Hosta would be a good choice, they love the shade, and perhaps a pretty bird bath in front of a trellis covered with your english ivy.

Impatients are good annuals for lots of color and love the shade. If you want perennials try this https://www.diynetwork.com/how-to/outdoors/gardening/10-best-perennials-for-shade

The soil here in Florida is sand . So I keep my flowers in pots and containers . Pot what flowers you like and put them in that corner . Use bricks to make them different heights and a statue or birdbath in the center . Also , battery operated lights for night . It will be beautiful . Good luck , friend .
