Can I paint a granite outdoor table?

I have a sturdy patio table with cheap granite inserts. I love the patio set because it is nice and heavy and we live in a windy area. What can I do to make this "granite" look better?
Yes but you will need to seal it with marine sealer
I don't know about paint. If you could get a piece of glass cut to the size, with a hole for the knob, you could sandwich a piece of fabric between it and the table, and then you would be able to change out the color if you want. It would be like a windproof tablecloth.
Wallpaper, then seal.
Use baby oil!
