Should I brush or spray paint a 25 yr old swingset frame?

Clean it up with a wire brush and ensure it s clean, I would brush the paint on rather than spraying, that way you are up close and can see if you missed any spots

I would spray with a rust inhibiting paint like Rustoleum after doing the sanding and cleaning prep. Wishing you the best.

Brush paint. Spray painting will get paint everywhere and a lot of waste.

It would be much easier to spray paint it. Just make sure the wind, if any, is going away from you.

I would definitely spray paint using Rustoleum for metals.

Either, but a brush can get into the small spaces and curves better. Using a 4” roller can do most of the job faster, with a brush just for the details. And use Rustoleum or Kilz, of course. ☺️
