How to dress up a porch of a manufactured home.

Question

what are some DIY ideas for the outside porch of a manufactured home? All of the porches in the community have that fake green lawn-like covering. It gets so dusty and is very unattractive. It also covers the steps to the porch and I have no idea what to replace it with or how to make it cute.

Are you allowed to take the grass-like stuff up? Or do you have to keep That?

If you are allowed to remove it I would definitely pull it up! From there you have lots of options as to what you can Do! Planters flowers, paint or stain the deck, different furniture...the list is endless

I'd just use an outside area rug that I can vacuum. Rollup and store during the winter.

You can remove the fake green grass, scrape off the glue, and paint the porch.... stencil a pattern, paint stripes, etc.. Pinterest.com will have ideas for you.... Then put colorful plants in pots to decorate and give interest.
