I can't get my riding mower started. It tries to start but nothing.

I clean the spark plug and turning the engine . What could be wrong????

    If you left gas in it, it may be stale, Clean the carburetor and gas tank

    Possible that fuel is not reaching the engine. Tap the side of the carburetor and see if it starts then. If it still isn't starting possibly a new fuel filter.

    Not getting any gas .your fuel line is stop up . Clean your fuel line out .get a can of ether and squirt in carb .

      I had put new gas in the tank before this happen and also when I put it in hoke and try to start it only one time it smells strongly of being flooded even tho' I just try to start it.

    that is the answer. get the Starting Fluid in a spray can. take off the carb filter and give it a quick spray. Pull the lanyard and let it run for a few minutes.

    make sure the fuel is turned on, and add a fuel stabilizer

    my son found a fuse was out. replaced it and started right up.
