Lina Splichalon Jun 4, 2018I would use it as a cleanser, especially if they were saved together. The orange peels cut the vinegar smell and the vinegar cuts through oil and soap scum very well.HelpfulReply

Cynthia Hon Jun 4, 2018It's great for cleaning hard surfaces. I don't use it on rugs or fabric though because it may stain. I keep mine in a spray bottle. I remove the orange peels before I put the vinegar in the bottle.HelpfulReply
- Cynthia Hon Jun 5, 2018I mix it half vinegar and half water. If you've soaked the peels (you can do it with lemon peels, too) in the vinegar at least a week, it will be very strong. I soak my peels in a mason jar for a week, by the way.HelpfulReply

DesertRoseon Jun 4, 2018I use the orange peels and vinegar after it has set for 5 days to clean my oven. I have a self cleaning oven, but sometimes I just spill a little on the door and do not want to heat the house turning on the self cleaning part. Anyway, after the liquid has set for 5 days or more, put it in a spray bottle. Put baking soda on the part to clean and spray it with the liquid. Let it set ten minutes or so and wipe. Reapply as needed. It takes a lot and lots of time to do the whole oven, but not if you keep the oven updated on being clean. This is perfect for regular maintenance or small spills. Hope this helps.HelpfulReply
- Lisaon Jun 5, 2018Thank You! Can't wait to try and see if that really does help. We use the oven all the time in this very small apartment and I'm the self cleaning part to the oven. So anything to make my job easier is wonderful.HelpfulReply
- B. Enneon Jun 5, 2018I use it full strength, but avoid using it on surfaces that can be damaged by acids like granite, new fibreglass and chrome. I also have the same concoction with a few big squirts of dishwashing liquid for more dirty surfaces. If I use lemon dw liquid it smells better.HelpfulReply
